Our Story

Over 15 years ago, the spark for HM Sound & Events was ignited in an unexpected place. Our owner Harry was in a local nightclub, experiencing a replacement DJ for the usual resident. In that moment, a lightbulb went off. Having been musically inclined from an early age, thanks to a diverse range of parental influences from Motown and 80's synth to 90's indie, Harry’s passion for music was undeniable. He still vividly recalls his first CD, "Rock DJ" by Robbie Williams, and the joy it brought him.

Reflecting on that nightclub experience, Harry thought, "Surely DJ'ing is just pressing buttons and playing songs at the right time, right?" (How wrong we were at the time). But with this simple yet profound realisation, a pair of Numark decks were purchased, and the journey as a mobile DJ began.

Starting with various pub residencies and small functions, HM Sound & Events began to build a reputation in the local area. By 2018, the dream became a reality, and HM Sound & Events was officially born.

In 2023, we became a limited company, solidifying our commitment to excellence and professionalism. Today, we continue to serve customers across Cheshire and the North West, providing mobile DJ services for events, weddings, and corporate functions.
